| I started out in 1983 with a strong desire to be a signwriter, but my progress was hampered by the development of computer generated vinyl letters. I later completed a 3 year course of study in lettering at the City & Guilds of London Art School where I now teach. At my London studio, in addition to Painted Letters, I am regularly commissioned by private and commercial clients to carve letters into stone and wood. When left to my own devices, I explore in stone, the endless sculptural possibilities inherent in letterform. |
