| Ann Bowen studied lettering and heraldry at Reigate School of Art and Design. She is the author of The Calligraphy Set by Readers Digest, and has contributed calligraphy to the Great Book of Gaelic by Canongate. An exhibition to launch the book has recently been shown at the Glasgow Gallery of Modern Art, before it tours other countries. Ann has her own freelance business and is a part-time calligraphy tutor. She works for design consultants, advertising agents, publishers and film companies.
