| Initially trained in Fine Art, then specialised in medical illustration: between the 70's and 90's developed an aptitude for handwriting into a busy freelance practice, supplying documents as props to the TV and film industry, along with training in formal calligraphy.
Now works with design and other companies requiring hand-generated lettering. Teaches occasionally, remains intrigued by 'ordinary' handwriting, both ancient and modern.
