LX Lecture – Stephen Raw, Lettering Artist

Stephen Raw(born 1952) studied at Wimbledon and Ravensbourne Colleges of Art and Design then went to Manchester to do an MA. He did not make the return trip south and has lived there since, save for two years teaching at the National Arts School in Papua New Guinea. Since 1983 he has been a self-employed designer and artist. He is married with three grown up children.
Subjects which will be touched on in this lecture: Publishing; St Ann’s Hospice; Royal Mint Design Advisory Committee; Robert Burns; Kosovo; The Royal Ballet stone in Westminster Abbey and the Poet Laureate’s sherry.
